MonteLago Village, located in Lake Las Vegas, Nev., has added a floating ice-skating rink on the surface of the lake for wintry activities; it will stay open until Feb. 17. A 12,000-pound freezer keeps the ice cold in the desert climate. The space can accommodate 60 skaters at a time. Other activities at the resort include boat rides and golf.
