Evergreen Lodge

The Evergreen Lodge, located just outside Yosemite National Park in Groveland, Calif., will open 24 new guest cabins this month, bringing the total number of cabins to 90.

Other enhancements and additions include a new outdoor dining area and plaza, a restored tavern, outdoor event area and spa cabana, and a new games and entertainment hall, dubbed Tuolumne Hall.

Tuolumne Hall features a 25-seat movie theater, pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong, an arts and crafts area, a selection of board games and game tables, a dedicated toddler play zone and guest computers with complimentary Internet access.

The Lodge finances and operates an on-site Youth Employment Program in which a group of high-potential young adults from urban backgrounds work as paid interns, gaining work experience while receiving career and life counseling.
