Basin Harbor, located in Vergennes, Vt., has announced the completion of Summit, a new lodge of suites set on the resort's golf course. Measuring 6,000 square feet, the new building can accommodate medium-size groups. Another new option for groups is the Escape, a 48-passenger fishing boat that takes guests for a tour of Lake Champlain. Boat excursions include food, beverages and audiovisual equipment. Altogether the resort stretches over 700 acres.
