The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Kapalua, Hawaii, has announced a $95 million renovation that will begin on July 2 and conclude in December. Hawaiian-themed materials such as coconut, seashells, Hawaiian tattoo motifs and poi bowls will be used in the overhaul. Green, brown and cream hues will form the hotel's color palette. The resort features a permanent outdoor ballroom and six cultural programs for incorporating the culture of Maui into events. Overall, the resort has about 150,000 square feet of event space.
