The final phase of renovations at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, located in Virginia Beach, Va., has been completed. The $202.5 million project spruced up the venue's 500,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. In addition to an exhibit hall, a VIP meeting lounge and a ballroom with programmable LED lighting, the center has a 147-foot observation tower with views of the resort and outlying areas. The building's design reflects the costal nature of the center with elements such as water, wood and natural light.
