Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center, based in Tampa, Fla., has completed an $11 million expansion project, adding to the property an 8,000-square-foot meeting center, 6,000-square-foot outdoor patio, a picturesque gazebo and fountain, and lush landscaping.

The new meeting center features 16-foot tall ceilings and an attractive design that allows the space to serve not only as a business venue but also as venue for wedding receptions, management says.

Top-of-the-line audiovisual technology serves groups of up 350 people for a conference or about 500 for a wedding or banquet.

The property offers 360 one- and two-bedroom suites set up condominium-style.

Each nonsmoking suite comes with a full-size kitchen, living/dining room, three TVs and two bathrooms.
