New Event Space at Hotel at Auburn, Partridge Inn and Ritz-Carlton San Francisco

Hotel at Auburn University Unveils Event Space
The newly renovated Terrace Room at the Hotel at Auburn University, in Auburn, Ala., is downtown Auburn's only indoor/outdoor venue for special events, according to management. The space, which can accommodate up to 300 guests, features a pool-side terrace adjacent to a junior ballroom; it was designed by students and faculty of the school's College of Human Sciences Interior Design Program. The space offers a series of French doors that lead to a stone terrace overlooking the historic campus. A culinary team lead by executive chef Andrew Litherland can create a variety of menus. The Hotel at Auburn University recently renovated its 236 guest rooms and nine suites, management says.

Partridge Inn Offers More Event Space
The 100-year-old Partridge Inn in Augusta, Ga., now offers couples getting married at the property the option of renting the entire second floor. The second floor includes access to the Morris Partridge Grand Ballroom, the Champion Suite, P.I. Bar and Grill, and a quarter mile of verandahs; the space can host receptions for from 250 to 500 guests. The 144-room hotel offers the services of an in-house wedding planner, a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and high-tech meeting capabilities, according to management.

Terrace Room New at Ritz-Carlton San Francisco
The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco has unveiled the Terrace Room, a new event space for up to 150 guests. The venue offers large windows, an outdoor patio, natural lighting and direct access to the hotel's interior courtyard; it can be booked with the courtyard for group luncheons, dinners and receptions. Located on Nob Hill, the 336-room hotel offers more than 23,000 square feet of event space, which includes the 9,500-square-foot Ballroom. Meeting space has been designed so that service hallways are behind the meeting rooms, and a dedicated bank of three elevators serves meeting areas.
