New York Stock Exchange Opens for Events
Previously available only to companies listed on the exchange, the venerable New York Stock Exchange has just opened its trading floor and old Stock Exchange Luncheon Club to outside companies for special events including conferences, cocktail receptions, banquets and sit-down dinners. Located in the heart of Manhattan's financial district, the venue offers an in-house catering staff, a selection of fine wines, and elegant table settings, management says. Available spaces include the Trading Floor, with a reception capacity of 500; the Main Dining Room, with a banquet capacity of 240; and the Lounge and Card Room, with a banquet capacity of 120.

Standard Los Angeles Offers Deals to Planners
The Standard Los Angeles, located in downtown L.A., offers special incentives to event planners. Options include an upgrade to deluxe king rooms; the Standard continental breakfast for all participants on each day of the meeting; the "Half Hour" break, which includes a choice of three appetizers, two sandwich selections and a cookie platter for each day of the program; and one complimentary morning and one afternoon coffee break. The packages are available for $205 per person per day inclusive. Planners who book by April 30 can receive an additional 10 percent off their entire program.

St. Regis Deer Crest Offers Event Space
The St. Regis Deer Crest Resort, which debuted in December in Deer Valley, Utah, near Park City, offers 181 guest rooms and state-of-the art amenities in 14,500 square feet of meeting space. Some 7,000 square feet of meeting space is available indoors; an additional 7,500 square feet of outdoor meeting space is situated on two terraces offering spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains. All outdoor spaces can be tented for winter or summer use. Amenities include a spa, fitness center and easy access to ski slopes.
