Rosewood Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of hotel Rosewood Sand Hill, located on a 16-acre site in Menlo Park, Calif., one mile west of the Stanford University campus. The property features 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including the 2,800-square-foot Rosewood Ballroom, which opens onto the 5,375-square-foot Vista Lawn. Meeting spaces include courtyard meeting rooms, which are adjacent to the hotel entrance fountain and are connected by open breezeways. The indoor function rooms offer views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Todd Outhouse, formerly catering sales manager with the St. Regis San Francisco, serves as director of catering.
