The Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, Calif., has completed a $6 million renovation. Improvements include a redesign of the restaurant Splash, which serves California costal cuisine such as swordfish, tuna tartare and gazpacho with poached prawns. Overall, the resort offers 10,000 square feet of event space. The Pelican Ballroom holds 180 people at a banquet. A wall of windows accentuates the Sand Castle room, which measures 1,029 square feet.
