Chateau on the Lake Debuts Meetings Package
The Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center in Branson, Mo., has announced the new Meetings on a Higher Level package, with seven incentive options for groups. Available for new programs booked and held at the resort by May 1, 2010, the program provides the choice of a free meeting break, reception or continental breakfast; five spa passes; a free meeting room; three free VIP amenities; one free VIP upgrade to a suite at the group rate; free high-speed Internet access in all attendee guest rooms; and free garage parking for all attendees. Room rates for the package start at $99 per night; the minimum is 25 room nights.

Snow Balls Make for Budget-friendly Holiday Parties
Snow Balls, which are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in December and the first week in January at the Phoenixville Foundry in Phoenixville, Pa., are designed to offer a fun, affordable and stylish option to the office holiday party. The all-inclusive, shared events feature gourmet hors d'oeuvre, dessert and coffee stations, a live band, dancing, seated salad and entree, complimentary parking and decor. The venue offers a mix of open and intimate spaces, private entrances and a full event kitchen.

Pican Restaurant Available for Small Groups
Located in Oakland, Calif., near the famed Paramount and Fox theaters, the Pican Restaurant features the Bourbon Room, a private dining room seating 36 guests for lunch or dinner. Pican offers a California-influenced menu of Southern cuisine along with an extensive collection of handmade, single-batch bourbons. Signature dishes include Southern Caesar Salad with Fried Okra and Parmesan Grits Croutons, Low Country Shrimp and Grits, Bourbon and Molasses Lacquered Duck, and Georgia Pecan Tart with Buttermilk Ice Cream and Bourbon Butterscotch.
