Kitano Hotel To Give Cash Back for Holiday Party Bookings
New York's Kitano Hotel announces a new program whereby event planners booking holiday parties at the property by Nov. 1 will receive a $100 American Express gift card. The hotel will offer customized events at from $125 to $195 per person in its rooftop venue, which offers views of the Manhattan's east and west skyline, management says. The $125-per-person cocktail reception—25 guests minimum—provides a four-hour event with an open bar, station hors d'oeuvre and two hours of tray-passed hors d'oeuvre. The $195-per-person option—again for 25 guests minimum—offers a four-hour event with an open bar, one hour of station hors d'oeuvre, one hour of tray-passed hors d'oeuvre and a served three-course dinner. The options are offered from Nov. 1 to Jan. 31, 2010.

Tennessee's Chalet at Richmont Inn Opens
The new Chalet at Richmont Inn in Townsend, Tenn., provides facilities for small meetings and corporate retreats, management says. The chalet's Great Room, which can accommodate up to 25 guests, offers a vaulted ceiling and expansive windows with sweeping mountain views. The conference/dining room, which seats up to 12 guests, can include the services of the resident chef. The barn-style main inn offers 10 guest rooms; the chalet offers four luxury suites. The property also includes an outdoor chapel for small weddings.

Hilton Sandestin Launches "'09 Bang for 2010 Bucks" Program
The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Fla., announced it will offer a 50 percent discount off prevailing rates for planners who book now for a 2010 event or a 2009 fall or winter event. The discount applies to room rates, F&B and audiovisual services. Restrictions apply, management notes. The property offers 32,000 square feet of meeting space including the 10,000-square-foot Emerald Ballroom, the smaller Coral Ballroom, the 14-guest Boardroom and 20 breakout rooms. An outdoor deck provides panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico.
