X Bar, located in the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles, is a new lounge featuring a 28-foot bar. Outside, a screening wall shows classic films while fire pits keep guests warm. Indoors, plasma TVs entertain and an unstructured "bar back" hangs from the ceiling. In addition to small plates such as ahi tuna wonton stacks and cheese panini, the lounge serves unusual drinks, such as the "grapefruit sake sipper."
