Daisy Chain: Company Transforms Bridal Bouquet Flowers into Jewelry

These beads are made from flower petals.

For the bride looking to remember her bouquet in a whole new way, Freeze Frame, a Dayton, Ohio-based flower preservation company, transforms fresh flowers into beautiful sterling silver jewelry.

The company’s innovative Bloombeads line includes bracelets, pendants, necklaces, earrings, rosaries, rings, cuff links and Pandora-style charms created with beads made from actual flower petals.

“Bloombeads are more vibrant than other flower petal jewelry because the blooms are freeze-dried, locking in the color intensity in a way that only freeze-drying can provide,” says co-owner Carli Dixon.

Each jewelry item is custom-made by hand; the process takes from 10 to 14 weeks.
