I want to share a story I heard from the talented event designer Sean DeFreitas at The Special Event in January.

Partnering with Laurie Arons Special Events, he created a stunning white wedding that ultimately won a Gala Award at the show.

But someone else almost got the job.

The clients had already selected a designer, Sean told me. But then they saw one photo—just one—of an event he created.
