For this sensory culinary adventure from
Culinary Capers Catering, table decor was kept to a minimum as "we wanted the food and wine to be the focus of the event," the team says. Dining tables were dressed with moss green silk linen and fresh organic vegetables--including kale, multicolor heirloom carrots, miniature turnips, squashes, and radishes--were strewn down the center of the tables anchored by small vases with fresh herb bundles of basil, rosemary, thyme. During the dinner, guests would rely heavily on their sense of taste and smell which precluded the use of floral decor. Photo by John C. Watson.
