As events become more experiential, we’re seeing immersive dining shine as one more event element to submerge attendees in a curated world. In a recent article for Catersource, the International Caterers Association discussed how creating food and beverage experiences around the five senses can anchor attendees in the moment and constantly engage them. 

The article demonstrates the use of each sense across three different events, with elements like varying theme rooms, physical maps, a “slider slide,” and even a station where guests could wash their hands in chocolate!
