The newly combined conference powerhouses—The Special Event Catersource—are getting ready to roll in Las Vegas. The event takes place March 10-12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

As exhibitors began their load-in yesterday, attendees could catch up at the Connect Live event at the Cat’s Meow karaoke bar—a lively evening of cocktails, appetizers and a song or so.
ON TAP TODAY Today’s event slate will bring the launch of education sessions, including the courses “Pricing for Venue Profit,” “Seven Steps to ‘Yes’: Irresistible Proposals for the Modern Couple,” “Double Down on Decor and Dining,” and “Cannabis and Events: A New Niche or a Risky Proposition?"
A special highlight will be the panel “Let’s Discuss: Implications of COVID-19.”
Showcasing events today will include the Venue Tour of exciting event spaces in Las Vegas.
Closing out the day will be the Opening Night Party, which runs 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at new venue AREA 15.
