The couple, who met at the Israeli edition of the Burning Man Festival, wanted to provide their guests with an artistic experience that would not end once the wedding ended.

In realize the couple's vision, the event team created craft stands where guests hammered, painted and sewed the couple’s wedding decorations and furniture for their future home.

Because the couple are both "burners"--Burning Man festival participants--the team had to have a Burning Man-style party. The event team brought in a 40-foot, wooden pirate ship DJ stand that stood 20 feet high.

The aisle chairs were dripping with black and white ribbons. The altar featured a tree that was adorned with roses as if they had grown wildly up the base of the tree towards a chandelier. The ceremony was timed perfectly so that the sunset would set and night would fall as the couple exchanged their vows.

After dinner, the bride surprised her groom by hopping onstage to play drums with the band. The Gala Awards will be handed out March 12 at The Special Event.
