Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto by Danzante Bay, the award-winning resort located on the eastern coast of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, has appointed Rich Taylor as Director of Golf. In this role, Taylor will spearhead all operations at the exceptional TPC Danzante Bay and develop and maintain an exceptional experience for guests, members, and staff. Taylor has been instrumental in shaping the golf offerings at TPC Danzante Bay since 2019, where he most recently served as Director of Golf Development. He brings over 30 years in the golf and resort industry with extensive experience in operations, sales and marketing, as well as new business development and strategic partnerships. Taylor became a PGA member in 1996.
ASM Global, the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences, has selected Ashley Hinsen as vice president of sales, private events, for Allegiant Stadium, the award-winning global events facility in the heart of Las Vegas, the capital of sports and entertainment. In her role as vice president of sales, private events, Hinsen will oversee and expand the already successful private events business at Allegiant Stadium. The state-of-the-art, multipurpose venue, managed by entertainment giant ASM Global, has a capacity of 65,000, and boasts over 10 event spaces to deliver once-in-a-lifetime impactful events and experiences for groups of any size. Hinsen is known for her creative, award-winning, and ambitious executive leadership skills, and has delivered peak-performance teams, world-class event planning and execution.

Global DMC Partners (GDP), the largest global network of independent destination management companies (DMCs) and specialized event service providers, recently concluded its 10th annual Connection in Punta de Mita, Mexico, June 6-9. Co-hosted by local DMC partner Tropical Incentives and host hotel Conrad Punta de Mita, this year’s highly anticipated event held up to its decade-long standing as the premier education and networking conference for meetings and events professionals. Nearly 200 attendees traveled from every corner of the globe to learn key insights and trends, share best practices and foster new and existing relationships through in-person networking, one-on-one business appointments, peer-to-peer breakout sessions and engaging off-site activities.
