Bellagala, a leading Twin Cities wedding and event planning operator, announced the opening of Equestria West at Bavaria Downs, a luxury events venue located in Chaska, Minnesota. The property is the second venue for Bellagala at Bavaria Downs, who opened the Edward Anne Estate in 2018. Formerly a traditional horse stable, Equestria West features more than 24,000 sq. ft. of event space, including two grand ballrooms, stylish private suites, indoor-outdoor bar, courtyard, manicured gardens, and multiple wedding ceremony locations. The enchanting property will be equipped to host between 50-1,000 guests. D’Amico Catering will continue to act as exclusive food, beverage, and service provider for the multi-venue campus, offering chef driven menus and impeccable service for all Equestria West events. An official ribbon cutting took place June 28.

BLACE, a female-founded space and vendor booking platform, announced recently that it is expanding its platform from New York City to Los Angeles and has partnered with Century Park to exclusively list The Pavilion, a versatile indoor/outdoor event space located in the heart of Century City for event booking. The Pavilion, formerly the Annenberg Space for Photography, is a 15,000 sq. ft. space (13,000 RSF indoor + 2,000 RSF outdoor patio space) with impressive features ideal for gala dinners, networking events, film/tv/photo shoots, and brand activations.

The American Rental Association (ARA) has announced that the 2023 Women in Rental and Young Professional Network (YPN) conferences will be hosted in Clearwater Beach, Florida, in October. The conferences will be held back-to-back at the brand-new JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. The Women in Rental conference will take place Monday, October 23 through Tuesday, October 24. The Young Professional Network conference will be held Wednesday, October 25 through Thursday, October 26. Registration for both conferences opened July 5. Capacity is limited for both conferences, so it is suggested to sign up early to secure a spot at these inspiring rental industry events.
Sugarplum Tent Company announced that it has sold its business and assets to CE Rentals, formerly known as Curated Events. CE Rentals is owned by Dubin Clark & Co. Sugarplum Tent Company has two locations; one warehouse in Frederick, MD and another warehouse in Boyds, MD. “We’ve been in business for 33 years and the decision to sell was a difficult one,” said Barbi Richardson, owner of Sugarplum. “We are happy to have sold to CE Rentals and Dubin Clark as it was a natural fit for us to do so.”
Tipsy Pear is a new Southern California-based, premier licensed and insured bar provider led by Michelin star, Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef Meg Walker. Walker currently serves as the CEO and Executive Chef at Southern California’s premiere catering company Made by Meg Catering, as well as the exclusive caterer and operator of the historic La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes Estates. Tipsy Pear is now accepting bookings for events in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
