The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre has completed a $24 million renovation that included a full redesign of all 503 guest rooms, lobby and public areas, and food and beverage outlets to elevate the property to the highest level of Hilton standards. Additionally, the hotel’s meeting spaces, totaling 55,000 square feet, were completely updated including new furnishings, modern artwork, and the latest in technology. The addition of a new 6,600-square-foot Lakeside Ballroom increases the hotel’s expansive meeting and events space. Hilton Designed Meeting Rooms have been updated to include 75-inch built-in monitors, refreshed local art, special seating, and amenities including refrigerators. Onsite eateries, H Bar and L’Express, underwent a new layout and design which includes new seating and a marketplace-style atmosphere, ideal for networking collaborating and socializing. The property is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.
Leta Hotel in Santa Barbara is now a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel. Earlier this year, AWH Partners purchased the property with Spire Hospitality as the new management company. The158-room Leta Hotel is ideally located in Goleta and is prized for its cool, hip, and carefree Californian personality and its artful, quirky, unexpected, open and soulful chemistry. Erika Singleton has been named the American Rental Association’s new Workforce Development Manager. With a background in human resources management, employee training, and program marketing, her role will work to address the industry labor shortage by promoting rental as a career. Singleton will also serve as a resource on additional topics, such as alternative funding programs. “Adding Erika to our team will enhance current workplace initiatives,” said James Auerbach, ARA’s Vice President for the Event Segment and Workforce Development department. “She is focused on continuing to expand her knowledge and putting her expertise into practice in her role with ARA.”
Christi Davis has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Loews Sales Organization; part of Loews Hotels & Co. In her new role, Davis will lead the entire sales strategy for the company and also focus on the evolution of the Loews Sales Organization, enhancements, impactful tools, innovative programs and tactical property marketing, all while closely ensuring the Brand is top of mind. Prior to Loews Hotels & Co, Davis held leadership positions with Journal Hotels, the iconic Beverly Hilton, K Hotels, Thompson Hotels, KSL and Marriot Hotels & Resorts.
