Rotten tomato prices Think you're paying too much for tomato products? You're probably right. U.S. authorities filed felony charges last week against a major California tomato processor, charging that it and others fixed or rigged prices on tomato products sold to major U.S. processors. According to the Los Angeles Times, the feds are ramping up scrutiny of the food sector out of concern that an increasingly consolidated food industry is driving up prices.
