Guests at the event--a final-night awards ceremony--enter the reception through a gothic gateway shrouded in "fog" and surrounded by oversize flowers.
Echoing the famed "chessboard" theme, dance floor tiles in black and white and oversize chess pieces line the entry path.
The first stop for guests: The Red Queen-dom, a cocktail area with red velvet couches and high-top tables dressed in ruby velour linen.
A nod to the White Rabbit, the bars at the reception feature pocket-watch graphics. The black napkins handed out with drinks read "Drink Me."
The perimeter of the reception area features 6-by-8-foot gilded picture frames showcasing custom images of the Tim Burton 2010 "Alice in Wonderland" film.
To move from the reception area to the dinner tables, the event team reveals a pocket watch "time tunnel," which both physically and metaphorically leads guests to the next chapter in the evening's story.
The dinner tables are themed to major characters. Here, the Red Queen table, with its stunning suspended floral.

The Jabberwocky table features faux black rawhide leather linen and snakeskin embossed chairs. Mystical elements such as fiddlehead ferns, thorny succulents and black calla lillies are arranged in silver reptile-inspired containers.
A longer view of the Jabberwocky table. Suspended overhead are ghostly armored helmets and spidery air plants, evoking the entrance to the Jabberwocky's lair.
The Alice table is festooned with mismatched teacups in haphazard stacks that serve as floral vases. Echoing Alice's famed dress, table linen is blue and topped with a custom white eyelet overlay.
