Act Up: New Entertainment Acts for Special Events

From A2D2, the Main a Main "love duet" is an ideal vignette performance to break up event formalities (such as speeches, award presentations, etc). This act incorporates hand-to-hand skills, gymnastics, acrobatics, and contemporary dance into one dramatic routine. It has been recently featured as the centerpiece entertainment for both weddings and corporate events.

Tell-A-Vision is live performance art conceived and developed by Dorene Collier and AJ LeBlanc of Event Show Productions. Through two years of research, they developed a moving storybook using wireless technology incorporating video screens joined with live performers, thus to “tell a vision."

Beston Entertainment--from Gigmasters--provides a range of exciting visual performances, including fire breathing, silk dancing, grinding and more.

From Imagination Entertainment, Flashback is "a theatrical celebration of our rich musical history that features a cast of eight to 14 Broadway credited singers, actors and dancers," they say. The musical review immortalizes the popular sounds of the past six decades, bringing to life song, dance, images and fashion icons from the 20th Century. "From Charleston to hip-hop, from ragtime to Ricky Martin, Flashback is a theatrical happening that leaves no tune unturned in its journey through the musical trends of the past and present."
