The structure is nearly 14,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 guests theater-style or 450 seated.

The lighting team installed 160 individual light fixtures in south-facing windows of 11 stories of an office building to create a "12" that was visible both day and night; the client was so pleased that it hired the lighting team to duplicate the installation on the north side of its building.

To deliver a futuristic setting representing digital solutions, the event team developed a 65-by-65-foot audiovisual "cube," which could be used from the inside as an immersive dome or from the outside as a video screen.

The work culminated in a five-day installation requiring more than 5,000 man hours, two semi-trailers, three 5-ton refrigerated trucks, 80 separate deliveries of items from across the continent, 16 tents, 500 panels of fabric, tens of thousands of floral blooms, an emergency weather response plan requiring 12 industrial fans and 20 wet-dry vacuums, and a positive attitude among the 150-person team of professionals.

The event team had a scant 14 hours to turn a ballroom set as a 14,000-seat rock arena into a fully decorated dinner venue for 1,800 high rollers, who rang in the New Year with a performance by the same bad—the legendary Fleetwood Mac. The team removed bleachers and theater seating, reset the room into 180 decorated tables, did a band sound check and a light check, tested the video mapping, and decorated the foyer and lounge areas.
