For an L.A. bride who married in New Orleans,
A Legendary Event created floral in vintage style but with a modern, unpredictable edge.
The rich array of bridal bouquets from A Legendary Event.
The "bottle tree" display in the reception area, fashioned from magnolia branches with garden roses and gardenias. According to Cajun legend, the bottles ward off evil spirits.
The bride's striking bouquet, created from fluffy cotton accented with vintage brooches.
One of the groomsmen's boutonnieres. Note the vintage button accent.
The groom's boutonniere--like the bride's bouquet, made from cotton.

Each table features a different centerpiece.
The color palette included reds, burgundy, salmon, onyx and platinum to create the 15 different centerpieces.
The arrangements included unconventional elements such as metal rocks, crushed glass, wires and sisal.
Vessels included iron containers, black trays, glass orbs and glass vases.
Floral used included James Story orchids, bells of Ireland, eucalyptus, Dusty Miller and Star of Bethlehem.

For a bride who wanted a pretty pink wedding and a groom who wanted a reception with a nightclub vibe,
Newberry Brothers does both. Here, the escort cards dangle from strands of crystals and orchids.
The white aisle is lined with banks of pink hydrangeas.
Each aisle chair is bedecked with a fully open white peony atop a pink hydrangea.
The legs of the chuppah are nestled among mounds of pink and white flowers; the chuppah is crowned with pink hydrangeas.
A closer view of the top of the chuppah. The event team had to incorporate the existing light fixture.
After the ceremony, the ballroom is decorated like a nightclub, with vivid white floral shining in deep blue and fuchsia lighting.
Tables feature one of three different centerpiece styles, all pin-spotted.
In keeping with the "nightclub" mood, the floral team tops metal lamps with white floral for an edgy look.
Even the low arrangements are dramatic, with white hydrangeas, white roses and white peonies in a glass globe wrapped with a silver band.
The cake is crowned with flowers, too.
