On Halloween, some 550 costumed revelers gathered at the “haunted” St. Anthony Hotel in downtown San Antonio among transgressors and hallowed souls for a “Sinners and Saints” fête from Wilkinson Rhodes.
Guests had six hours to travel through the underworld of the damned in the hotel’s main floor--with mariachis, colorful spiders with mammoth webs, and a haunted hedge wall where guests could pick their “poison”--and then wait to be forgiven in purgatory on the rooftop of the hotel, which offered an angelic bubble dancer and a fountain of youth.
The event was just nominated for a 2017 Gala Award from Special Events.
