Hot off the Press

Golden Triangle Ventures, Inc. (GTV) announced that Lavish Entertainment (or “Lavish”), a wholly owned subsidiary of GTV, has completed a full acquisition of ABI Create (ABI), a premier event management and production firm. Founded in 2015 by Marco Antonio Moreno (recently appointed as the new President and COO of Lavish Entertainment), ABI Create has delivered high-quality productions for a range of large-scale installations at major music festivals, sporting events, and conventions across the United States. Notable projects include collaborations with the NFL Super Bowl, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Arnold Palmer Invitational, Burning Man, and many more. This acquisition will transition ABI Create into a wholly owned subsidiary of Lavish Entertainment and bolster its position in the entertainment industry through ABI’s longstanding and exceptional reputation, as well as its proven track record of executing high-level projects. Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, ABI’s comprehensive suite of services includes event organization, management, production, logistics, site planning, permitting, construction, contracting, custom design and fabrication.

The Las Vegas resort community united to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) with a marquee takeover showcasing the value of meetings and conventions to Southern Nevada. Marquees featured the GMID logo and campaign hashtag, #MeetingsMatter. Several Las Vegas resorts also featured blue exterior lighting to mark the initiative conceived by the U.S. Travel Association (USTA), the premier advocacy association for the travel industry. Meetings provide undeniable value to Southern Nevada and GMID is an opportunity to thank the various organizations in our community that bring these events to fruition. In 2023, Las Vegas welcomed nearly 6 million business travelers, many of whom added a leisure trip before or after a meeting or convention.

As Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine continues, Zinteco Productions, a cornerstone in Ukraine's entertainment production community for over 25 years, needs help. The ongoing conflict has brought the Ukrainian entertainment industry, like all normal life, to a standstill, and Zinteco’s operations have been severely impacted. TMB has collaborated with Main Light LLC to make some of Zinteco’s Solaris Flare Q fixtures available to cross-rent in the U.S. market. 100% of the rental revenue generated will pass on to Zinteco, whose principals, good friends of TMB for many years, still live in Kyiv and whose time is now 100% devoted to supporting Ukrainian refugees and defense efforts.
