Wine Country Party and Events, the full-service event rental company based in Sonoma, Calif., owned by former Classic Party Rentals executives Michael Bjornstad and John Moran, announced yesterday that it is opening a new 60,000-square-foot warehouse with adjoining showroom in San Francisco and changing its name to Bright Event Rentals.

The new name, effective immediately, reflects the company’s broader rental offerings and styles and creates consistent branding throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area, the company said in a statement.

“The new name--Bright Event Rentals--allows us to emphasize our belief that events need quality equipment, exceptional service, dependable execution, creativity, innovation and ease of use," said Bjornstad, Bright Event Rentals’ president, adding, "A bright spot in your event.”

Bright Event Rentals takes the “wine country” aesthetic and adds new styles and offerings while maintaining the uniqueness, quality and service that has been Wine Country Party and Events’ foundation for more than 15 years, the company said.

With locations in Sonoma and Healdsburg, Calif., and now in San Francisco, Bright showrooms are located to be convenient for a hands-on rental experience, and Bright warehouses are positioned to execute any size or scope of event throughout the region, management said.

The former Wine Country was founded in 1978 and purchased by Bjornstad and Moran, former COO and CEO of party rental giant Classic Party Rentals respectively, in 2013.
