The Valley River Inn in Eugene, Oregon is set to reopen this October after a multi-million dollar renovation. Some of the renovations completed included major changes to the event spaces on the property. The event venue offers a variety of spaces to accommodate different events such as the Willamette Ballroom, Columbia Ballroom, and McKenzie Ballroom, each perfect for large events such as banquets, receptions, and galas.

Tripleseat, the leading event management software for hotels, restaurants, and unique venues, has announced a new integration with Amaze Insights, a dynamic reporting platform designed to streamline data from multiple sales and catering (S&C) platforms. With this new integration, Tripleseat customers in the hospitality industry can now seamlessly leverage Amaze Insights to pull key performance data from Tripleseat and multiple other platforms into one consolidated report. This integration will enable hotel professionals to track crucial metrics like booking pace, need-to-fill dates, and more, all from a single, intuitive dashboard. The partnership addresses the growing need for comprehensive, streamlined reporting tools that help hotels optimize operations and increase profitability.
Element Tents & Structures, a division of Element Event Solutions, celebrates the wrap of one of its biggest events of the year: the PGA’s Presidents Cup, hosted at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, September 24 to 29 2024. A complex undertaking requiring three months of setup and a five-week teardown, the buildout entailed over 120 tents and 80,000 square feet of flooring used in VIP hospitality tents, players lounges, concessions and catering, media center and support tents. The Presidents Cup brings together 24 of the world's best players to compete for the Presidents Cup trophy. The weeklong event saw an estimated 30,000 daily spectators.

Condé Nast Traveler has announced the winners of its 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, honoring 13 independent hotels and resorts from the Curator Hotel & Resort Collection. The distinguished properties were recognized in this year's survey as top picks from travelers, including two members that ranked among the 10 best hotels in the world. Additional winners span across the United States and were voted the top hotels in the Florida Keys, Miami, California, Washington DC, and the Midwest.
