Big DMC group Hosts Global, included on the latest Special Events “25 Top DMCs,” has announced its expansion into Texas with the debut of Hosts Texas, serving Austin and San Antonio. Michelle Crosby, CMP, DMCP, will serve as general manager; Tanya Posavatz has been named director of business development.

Los Angeles-based Paramount Pictures has named Len Iannelli senior vice president of special projects and events.

Christopher Mackey has taken the role of general manager with Standard Party Rentals at its flagship location in Richmond, Calif.

Cindy Celis has joined Los Angeles-based Good Gracious Events as director of business development.

MeetingsNet, sister publications group to Special Events, will host its “Risk360” conference in Philadelphia on June 27. The one-day event, which will take place at Convene on Market Street, trains event and meeting planners to assess the risk elements of events, design an effective emergency action plan, understand how to mitigate, transfer, accept or avoid risk, and evaluate force majeure and indemnification clauses.
