The Honeywell line of generators has expanded to include two new inverter models—the HW 1000i and the HW2000i—designed to be compact, lightweight and affordably priced.
Inverter technology electronically regulates the generator to deliver only the power required by the appliances connected to it, allowing the generator to run at slower speeds when not at full power output.
The units are quieter than standard full-size portable generators, the manufacturer says.
The HW 1000i offers 900 watts of continuous output and the HW 2000i 2,000 watts.
