The unit features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that never needs replacement, the manufacturer says. Three hours of charging time yields 14 hours of use. The unit’s motion detection identifies and auto-mutes when product has been thrown, caught or dropped to prevent unwanted noise while the mic is in motion.
