New from the team behind the Catchbox—the wireless microphone that audience members can simply toss from person to person as each one finishes speaking—is Catchbox Plus, which can be charged wirelessly. The unit features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that never needs replacement, the manufacturer says. Three hours of charging time yields 14 hours of use. The unit’s motion detection identifies and auto-mutes when product has been thrown, caught or dropped to prevent unwanted noise while the mic is in motion.
