Flying though security Frequent travelers may be able to pass through airport security checks more quickly now that the Verified Identity Pass system, dubbed "Clear," has been given the green light by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration. The boss is ready to party The company holiday party--an endangered species in the U.S. in the wake of 9/11--should be especially strong this year, with one in three companies planning to boost party budgets by an average of 16 percent over last year. Mexico's troubles turn off tourism Drug wars and political unrest are taking their toll on Mexico's tourism industry, costing the country more than $200 million in lost revenue this year, according to the Los Angeles Times. Compounding the problem is the slow recovery of resorts Cancun and the Riviera Maya, which were hit hard by Hurricane Wilma in October 2005.
