Opening April 13, the Museo Alameda--located in San Antonio--will offer art, history and cultural education. With 20,000 square feet of space, the museum contains seven galleries and is affiliated with the Smithsonian--giving it access to 1.5 million objects from the Washington institution. The museum will be the largest Latino museum in the U.S. In addition to the galleries, a sculpture garden can serve as an event space.
