MPI adds new membership categories Effective Sept. 15, Dallas-based MPI will segment its memberships into five categories, replacing the former "planner" and "supplier" designations. The new categories will be corporate meeting professional, association/nonprofit meeting professional, government meeting professional, supplier meeting professional and meeting management professional. The student, faculty, retired, life and honorary member categories will stay in place.
