Emerald City Designs is honored for "A Modern Union," the mirrored tabletop for the wedding of two grooms.
In order to "reflect" who they are as individuals and as a couple, the grooms decided upon using two long, rectangular dining tables with mirror tops.
The cool, modern look was completed with Manzanita branches painted glossy black, which were joined at the ends and wrapped with crystal pendant drops to symbolize the men's union.
The vases were deliberately left without liquid, which might have bubbled and so distracted from the design. LED lighting changes throughout the event, from blue and amber to every color in the rainbow once the dancing started.
Short stems of white hydrangea add a touch of softness.
Black chargers and black stemware pop against the mirrored tabletop.
The tables are accented at the ends and above with facted glass globes.
