Catersource + The Special Event celebrated the first day of sessions with the annual Opening Night Party, held this year at The Pointe in Orlando, FL. Inspired by the coastal and playful atmosphere of The Hampton Social and the vibrant and cultural experience of Kavas Tacos + Tequila, this “Coastal Fiesta Block Party” was designed to delight the senses.
With three indoor and outdoor locations, attendees were immersed in an energetic atmosphere with exciting entertainment, delicious small bites (like lobster rolls), and plenty of rosé and reposado.
An electric violinist charmed the crowd outside while a live band got everyone dancing inside. Photo ops abounded in the CS+TSE themed Volkswagen van, as well as next to a beer burro and llamas, and with a vintage-style Florida postcard with a retro model.
There were a variety of activities to pass the time. Attendees could contribute to a paint-by-number mural, get their faces bedazzled in gemstones, or have their likeness captured in small scale on a wine cork.
