Belle Mer, in Newport, R.I., has recently reopened after a $2.5 million renovation. The new Water Salon features 10-foot high glass walls that open directly onto the lawn. Other amenities in the space include 72-inch clear crystal light fixtures, LED up-lights in the white floor, and an entry with Murano glass chandeliers. The salon holds 500 seated guests and the Island House accommodates 200.
