Gala Award Recipient for Best Multiple-Day Event Program for a Corporation or Association
When your client’s conference is to educate on the importance of the future of water sustainability, you can plan an average event, or you can create an immersive event that makes attendees feel as though they are surrounded by water—which is what event production company Event Solutions did for the Future of Water Conference.
“The venue whispered of a sustainable utopia where waters would flow as life’s breath,” they wrote in their Gala Award submission.
Not only did they create this utopia, they did so in six weeks, from event conception to completion. Plus, in line with the conference values, Event Solutions used sustainable practices to obtain and decorate the venue with living plants versus cut/single-use decor.
The event also focused on combining technology and nature. The team integrated state-of-the-art technology, ensuring flawless operation of massive production displays that demanded meticulous attention to technical details.
One example of this technology/nature combo was the immersive entrance. As attendees stepped into the event, they were immediately steeped in a visual spectacle. Walking through 18-foot-long and 6-foot-high walls of seamless HD LED screens as waves crashed around them was an experience that set the tone for the entire event. The tunnel not only symbolized the transition from the outside world to the client’s vision of the future but also heightened anticipation and excitement among the guests. The use of technology to create a dynamic and engaging entryway truly made a lasting first impression and exemplified innovation at its best.
There was also a 220-foot projection screen wrapped around the top level of the event. This expansive canvas became a centerpiece that projected oceans, landscapes, and logos on an immense scale. It also provided a dynamic backdrop that added depth and grandeur to the event, amplifying the messages being conveyed. The visual impact of this screen was unparalleled, creating an immersive experience that transported attendees to different environments and aligned perfectly with the event’s theme of the future of water. It served as a powerful tool for storytelling and left an indelible mark on everyone present.
During the educational portion of the event, each breakout and activation session held unique themes such as “Ensuring Smart and Connected Water Networks” and “Brine Mining” while interactive booths like “Brine for Baths” and “World Wide Water Tasting” allowed guests to engage directly with the elements.
After the conference portion of the event, the team switched the setup to fit the gala portion. Throughout the event, attendees not only learned about the importance of a sustainable water future; they lived it.

Catersource + The Special Event 2025 will run February 24-27 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Both the ACE and Gala awards will be presented during the conference at a to-be-determined location in Fort Lauderdale.
