After a turbulent few years, the corporate event marketplace is poised to get back in business.
According to an exclusive study conducted by Special Events Magazine in May, some 80 percent of in-house corporate event pros predict that their company’s spending on events in 2004 will be on par with or better than 2003 spending. A third of respondents say that spending will be up next year.
Slightly under a quarter of respondents said they plan to stage more special events in 2004 than in 2003. Nearly two-thirds said they will stage the same number next year as this. Eight percent said they will stage fewer events in 2004.
