Big party for Chicago Party Rental: McCook, Ill.-based Chicago Party Rental announced earlier this month that it has acquired Events Chicago, a longtime tent supplier in the Chicago market. The company will operate under the Chicago Party Rental/Events Chicago name with CPR president and chief operating officer Ben Shipper IV as president. “We are all very excited about this venture as it will allow us further growth and rental opportunities to even better service our clients,” Shipper said. “The completion of this acquisition represents a significant step for Chicago Party Rental in our strategy to accelerate growth in our core event equipment rental," added John Kerr, chief financial officer.
