Hilton International announced Monday that it is expanding its presence in Paris from four to five hotels following the signing of a management contract for a new, 463-room, four-star luxury hotel in a prime location in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement. The hotel will be managed by Hilton International on behalf of the Société Immobilière et Hôtelière du Parc Monceau. It is due to open in the first quarter of 2004.
The yet to be named hotel will feature all the amenities expected of Hilton International, company officials said, with facilities including eight sizeable meeting rooms offering the full range of Hilton meetings facilities, a full-service business center, a brasserie-style restaurant, a luxury bar and a health club and spa. Two floors dedicated to executive-level rooms and an associated exclusive clubroom.
“This strategically important property is an excellent addition to our portfolio, perfectly complementing our four other Parisian hotels,” said Jurgen Fischer, president of Hilton International, Europe & Africa and Scandic Hotels. “Being in a prime location at the heart of the busiest business neighbourhood within the so-called 'Golden Triangle' will enable us to further satisfy the needs of our demanding international business clientele."
