This new line of disposable cutlery won't be around in the third millennium. That's because the reSourceWare line of knives, forks and spoons is made from biodegradable materials, including cottonseed and cornstarch. These products work as well as conventional plasticware, according to the manufacturer. It also says they meet or exceed the standard of the American Society of Testing and Materials, which requires that any product calling itself biodegradable must completely decompose into carbon dioxide and water within 180 days.
