The Western Publications Association has named Special Events Magazine a finalist in the category "Best Trade Magazine, Circulation Under 50,000" in its 53rd annual "Maggie Awards" competition.
RER, which like Special Events is published by Primedia Business Magazines & Media, received a nomination in the category "Best Online Newsletter."
The Maggie Awards will be handed out April 23.
