If you're in the incentive travel business, then get ready for a happy new year in 2016. The latest information from the Incentive Research Foundation shows better budgets and longer lead times are on the way, according to our sister publications group MeetingsNet:
For the past eight years, the Incentive Research Foundation has surveyed incentive industry professionals on a regular basis to assess their outlook on incentives in the near term and to identify longer-term trends. The IRF’s Fall Pulse Survey 2015 finds good news: 67 percent of respondents said they are increasing their incentive travel budgets for 2016. Here’s how that translates to per-person spending: 36 percent will spend more than $4,000 per person in 2016; 29 percent will spend between $3,000 and $4,000 per person; and 30 percent of respondents will spend between $2,000 and $3,000 per person.--MeetingsNet
