Jillian Multari joins WM Events as business development specialist.

Atlanta-based event planning and design firm WM Events has announced the addition of Jillian Multari as business development specialist. In her new role, Multari will be responsible for growing the WM Events client portfolio, as well as expanding the sales department as the firm enters a new phase in its growth.

Washington-based Global DMC Partners, included on the latest Special Events “25 Top DMCs,” has announced the promotion of Catherine Chaulet to president and CEO.

Endeavor, the Beverly Hills-based owner of talent agency WME, announced it has acquired On Location Experiences, a hospitality and live events company. The deal will give Endeavor a majority stake in On Location Experiences, which works with the NFL and other major sports organizations such as the PGA of America and the NCAA.

Big meetings producer Bishop-McCann has acquired the meeting and events division of ASE Group. Both companies are headquartered in the Kansas City area.

Michelle Marvin has been named director of sales and catering at the Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare.

Chicago-based BBJ Linen has acquired La Tavola, a premier specialty events products and services provider based in Napa, Calif.

Jennifer Mendoza has been named director of sales for the Element by Westin hotel, slated in open soon in Ontario, Calif.

Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club and JB Duke Hotel, located on the campus of Duke University in Durham, N.C., have announced Julie Barrow as the new area director of sales and marketing.

Alex Kouzmanoff has been named president and CEO of Torrance, Calif.-based Aztec Tents.

The DMC Network, included on the latest Special Events “25 Top DMCS,” has announced Global Russia DMC and PCO as its newest preferred partner.

New York-based Production Resource Group has hired Fred Strickland as vice president of scenic technologies in the company’s corporate events unit. In this newly created role, Strickland will serve as commercial market lead for scenic, working closely with PRG shops in Las Vegas and New Windsor, N.Y., to optimize production and market offerings, provide direction to sales, and support the teams in project pricing and configurations.

Taylor Passman has been promoted to assistant production manager for the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. In his new position, Passman will assist in the supervision of all day-to-day activities of the production department.

Kempinski Hotels, headquartered in Geneva, has appointed Julia Massey as vice president global sustainability, with responsibility for overseeing sustainable standards and initiatives across the company’s guest journey and operations.

The Expo Group, based in Dallas, has announced its acquisition of Orlando, Fla.-based Allied Convention Service, commonly known as Brede/Allied. Brede Exposition Services will continue as before in its other five locations under the Brede brand name, management reports.
