When it comes to running a business, it's easy to think that bigger always means better. However, that's not always the case.
In a recent article for Catersource, wedding consultant and PR specialist Meghan Ely discussed some of the downsides of growing your business too quickly.
"For sustainable change, it must come at the right time. Otherwise, you risk growing too quickly without having the resources needed to maintain your momentum," she wrote in the article.
Ely listed certain pros and cons of growing a business:
Pro: Bigger (and more frequent) paydays
Con: More money, more problems
Pro: A reliable safety net
Con: Greater management burden
