Joule Hotel Expands Event Space
The Joule Hotel in Dallas has completed a year-long transformation that has nearly tripled the property's event space to more than 14,000 square feet, which includes a rooftop garden terrace with a climate-controlled pavilion, three new ballrooms, and four new meeting rooms. The hotel occupies a revitalized 1920s neo-Gothic landmark building in downtown Dallas and features original artwork from Andy Warhol, Tony Cragg, Adam Fuss and Richard Phillips.
St. Regis Aspen Resort Launches Planner Incentive Program
The St. Regis Aspen Resort has launched a new program that enables event planners to achieve elite status and accumulate points in the company's reward program. For the first time, planners will earn one elite room night credit for every 10 group rooms booked, which can be combined with room nights earned through Starwood Preferred Guest qualifying stays and applied toward Gold and Platinum status. Planners who book multiple catered events at the property by March 31, 2014, and use the events by Sept. 14, 2014, will earn three times the Starpoints. Turnberry Isle Miami Debuts New Event Packages
Turnberry Isle Miami--which features 408 spacious guest rooms and suites, all with private balconies or terraces overlooking the resort’s tropical grounds, golf courses or pools--has introduced a range of new packages designed for event groups of various sizes. In addition to a range of mix-and-match concessions and added-value experiences--from room upgrades and double Marriott Reward points to waived resort fees--the new group offers are enhanced with Turnberry Isle Miami’s range of venues and amenities, which include a 40,000 square-foot Conference Center featuring flexible meeting space and state-of-the-art technology, two 18-hole Raymond Floyd-designed championship golf courses, and a private beach club.
